In Colorado, the seller pays a commission to their listing agent to market their home, AND the seller pays a commission to the buyer’s agent for bringing a qualified buyer to purchase their home. With all the crucial details involved with finding and buying a home, I can’t think of any reason not to have free representation to help you through the home buying process. We will discuss lenders and make sure you are comfortable with the price point of the homes we will be viewing. I can’t emphasize enough the importance of a knowledgeable lender that will be your advocate, and I am happy to steer you in the right direction. I will enter your specific criteria for a house search into Metrolist; it’s a reliable site used only by agents. The most current listings will be emailed to both of us and we’ll be alerted to homes that are relevant to your needs and desires. We’ll also talk about the best days and times for you to view houses, what is involved with making an offer and how negotiations work. It is important for me to share the best strategies to get your offer accepted, and to go under contract. You'll learn about house inspections, time frames, and what happens at the closing table. I will encourage you to ask lots of questions. I want you to be as informed as possible when you decide to make an offer!
